Tinança de Benifassà is a Natural Park in the northernmost of Valencian Community, located in Castelló province, beside the Massif Ports Tortosa-Beceite, is a border line
with Catalan regions of Tortosa Port's and the Aragonese region of Mataraña. Tinança was declared a natural park on May 19, 2006.
Today's route takes us to see El Tosal del Rey (tossal del Rei or tossal dels Tres Reis in Catalan), a 1356-meter high summit, where the three Communities that once constituted the Crown of Aragón converge, this is: Aragón in the north, Catalonia in the east, and the Comunidad Valenciana in the south.

You have to visit ancient and beautiful villages around the mountain. Boixar, Fredes, Coraxa, La Pobla, Ballestar, Castell de Cabres...
Our excursion begin near the village of Fredes, amazing paths and dirt roads cross the forest until the summit.
The mountain of Tossal del Rey (1356m) is the highest of the massif with the mountain of the Montcaro (1441m). From there we can see the coast of Mediterranean far away.
